Ice cream anyone?

I love these cards, they are based on the cupcake cards again designed by a lady on SCS, I keep writing down the links then losing them! - I will go back and put them in. I used the Stamp and Stick powder with the glitter again - I love this effect and they are such cute cards - perfect for birthdays or party invitations.

More mini books!

Not the greatest photo sorry, just thought I would post these, I used my own DP with my SU stamps and paper, - these actually have Post it notes in rather than pages, - I love the 'Daily Notes' stamp from the Office accoutrements set, I really like the tiny flower and the font is gorgeous! - Anyway, thanks for looking,

Thursday, 10 July 2008

I have made this card for my Auntie Ruth's Birthday - based on the "spring card" on SCS, the flowers are made using an SU punch that my friend sent to me, and a leaf punch that I already had - I used the stamp and stick powder to make the glittery numbers and the Noteworthy and Garden silhouettes stamp sets - on Elegant eggplant cardstock, now I just have to go and make a box for it so that it doesn't get too squashed!

thanks for looking! Deborah

Stationery box

I used a wonderful pattern which I found on SCS and I will provide the link to this as soon as I find where I wrote it! - it is a great project, I will have to alter the sizes a tiny bit as our envelopes are too big in the uk! - didn't find that out until I has completed it and tried to put one in! I have used my own DP but everything else is SU - I really love the Choc Chip ribbon - I have lots of ribbon but the SU ribbon is much nicer - a lot of mine is too stiff and doesn't lie properly.
have a great day - thanks for looking - Deborah x

I saw these fantastic Cupcake cards on splitcoast stampers and had to make my own!! I love things with cupcakes on. I had to use designer paper that I had as I didn't have any SU paper that would match - but everything else is SU, I love the punches as they make layering and making your own embellishments so easy! I will have to provide a link to thank the lady who designed this card as it is so cute. I also used my three for you stampset with the stamp and stick powder and glitter to make sparkly cupcakes!

My favourite colours!

Not the greatest photo but I just love these colours, I have used Versamark for all of the flowers and it is such a simple card - I love the quotes from the Simply Said set of stamps they are really sweet!
I will have to take some more photos, I have made loads of cards recently and keep forgetting to take pictures while there is daylight. I have seen some really great ideas on SCS that I just have to try!
thanks for looking, Deborah x

sliding pop-up card

I love these sliding cards - they are really interesting but are flat to post! - I saw a tutorial on SCS. I used Bashful Blue cardstock and whisper white with the Noteworthy stamp set.
I used Versamark ink - for the background this just gave a nice watermark effect, for the other stamps I used it with the Stampin Pastels to give a really nice colourful effect.
Thanks for looking x

I made this card for my mother in law and I have used the Certainly celery designer paper with Barely banana, the flowers and stamp are from the Three for you set (which is still on offer this month!) for the flowers I used Pretty in Pink, Cameo coral Barely Banana and So Saffron, I used Choc Chip ink to sponge the Edges. I have to say after my error in purchasing the Celery paper I am growing to love it!

I also got lots of new ink pads and papers, very exciting - I accidentaly ordered Celery designer paper instead of Close to Cocoa, oh well I will have to learn to love green! have a great weekend, thanks for looking!

post it note holder with pen

This is a post it note holder I made after seeing one in youtube! I thought it was sooo cute, and I had some tiny gel pens which were just the right size. I used my Simply Said stamp set with Whisper white, Bashful blue, and Lavender Lace cardstock - I think the ink was Bashful blue as well - but I can't remember now!

I have made a few of these now - nice for a gift, the others are pink! I will have to get back to making things in my favourite colours now my order has arrived - I love purple, any purple! even my wedding dress was purple!

thanks for looking!

And don't forget - there are fantastic offers this month, Over 30% off the Three for you box set, 30% off the Basic Phrases stamp set - and the Escape bundle including Love Notes, a circle punch and the Circle of Friendship stampset with 25% off! - get in touch anytime to ask for more details, host a workshop or place an order x

I demoed the box and the card at my last party and they really liked it - using the wheel is great to cover a background quickly! I used the Simply said stampset - my favourite at the moment, - I love making cards this size and now I have a great excuse with the Escape offer this month!

Mini ribbon slider card

I love this Style of card - as you can tell!! and I am having a Pink phase at the moment, I have a few more cards to post but the weather has taken a turn for the worse and I prefer daylight for the photos! - whenever I show my hubby the cards I have made he is only interested if they move or do something interesting!!! - I am on the hunt for fun cards to make - at least I get a postitive reaction then! - I used the Year after year stamp set with Pixie Pink ink - and the Stamp and Stick powder - I love glitter but find that no matter what I do it drops off the card! - at least with this it stays on - well after I found that you have to heat it again after putting the glitter on! - now I want to use it on everything - will try for a non-pink card next time - thanks for looking!

long slider card

this is a longer version of the small slider card - I just love the butterfly! from the Bold Butterflies set and using the Happy Everything set for the insert - I used the stamp and stick powder to add the glitter and a versamark ink pad for the subtle effect on the card
Hope you like it!

Pocket Card

I love the Happy Everything stamp set, the script is so nice - and the greetings that come with it work really well on their own as well as with the main stamp - really good for 3x3 cards as they are so small! - I made this card using Real Red ink and cardstock - on whisper white - I used the office accoutrements set for the flower - I really like this flower - I bought the set to use for my scrapbooking but use the flower more than anything!

Secret message card

this is such a simple card but looks really effective! - I used a lot of different stamp sets for this but you could get a similar effect just using one - I was just having fun playing with all the different sets!
I used the small flower from Little Bits and the greeting inside was from Sincere Salutations, I used the dots and the other greeting from Polka Dots and Paisley and the other flower was from the Seeing Spots set - the card stock was Lovely Lilac and Orchid Opulence and I just used the Versamark pad and the lovely lilac pad on the insert - I also used the Heat and Stick powder to add the glitter! - I was having a great time playing! -

Slider card

I made this slider card using whisper white card and orchid opulence I also used my Versamark ink pad which is fantastic as it gives such a nice tone on tone effect. - This is one of my favourite stamp sets - Polka dots and Paisley, it is really versatile and it is also one of the sets on offer this month! if you purchase this set you can get the matching roller for 50% discount!
